ROGUE YEAR ROUND APPLICATION FORM

HOW THIS APPLICATION WORKS:

You will be sent to a CONFIRMATION page like the one below. Please check to see that the information is correct.

  • Applications to perform in ROGUE YEAR ROUND is FREE.

  • Applications will be considered on a FIRST COME FIRST BASIS Only. Applications will close by July 25 or when all performance slots are filled.

  • ONLY performers who have performed in the Rogue Festival (any year) are eligible to apply.

  • Performers may apply to perform a show that they already have performed or workshop a new show for ROGUE YEAR ROUND.

  • Each performance date will feature 2 performance groups and will be marketed as 1 show with 1 ticket price.

  • Shows MUST be PLUG & PLAY. This means that apart from a quick technical check the show must be ready to perform. There will be no more than a 25 minute intermission between acts for one show to strike and the following show to be set up. Basic lights and sound equipment existing in any particular venue is what we will provide.

  • ROGUE YEAR ROUND will take place on the LAST weekend of the month in one of two locations - Ashtree Studios and/or Starline Performance Venue between now and October. Each location will be slotted with pairings of shows for particular dates. Please indicate by TYPING IN your FIRST, SECOND, THIRD or ALTERNATE choices for your performance. We do not guarantee anything except that we will make every attempt to schedule you as close to your choice of dates as possible. Note: There is a possibility that performances at Ashtree Studios may take place over 2 nights.

  • ROGUE YEAR ROUND is CURATED. This means that the Rogue will determine the pairings, dates and locations for performances. Content will not be censored but a rating for the show MUST be provided by the performer in the application.

  • Ticket price is set at $10. Each performing group will receive $4 of that and $2 will go to the Rogue.

  • The Rogue will provide some promotional material... flyers, posters, web announcements. etc. Performers are also encouraged to promote the shows as well via their own mailing lists.
