How to Find a Show

You’re saying, “I like this Rogue Festival thing, and I want to see some shows, but I don’t know how to find the show I want to see.” We can help you. There are several ways to use this site to help you schedule your ideal Rogue experience.

Search by Show name

If you know the name or title of the show you want to see, look to the left of any page on this site, and you will see an alphabetical listing of Shows. (You may need to scroll down a bit.)

Hover your cursor over the name and see a very short description of the show.

Click on the name and you will be taken to the show listing where you can see the performers’ brief synopsis of their show, the dates and times they’re playing, and where it will be held, with a link to a map to help you find it.

Search by Company/Artist name

If you know the name of the artist or company doing a show, but you don’t know the name of the show, that’s ok!

Look to the right of every page, and you will see a Listing By Company Or Artist Name. (You may need to scroll down a bit.)

Hover your cursor over the company/artist name and it will display the name of their show.

Click on the company/artist name and it will take you to their show listing where you can see the performers’ brief synopsis of their show, the dates and times they’re playing, and where it will be held, with a link to a map to help you find it.

Search by Date or Venue

Want to know what shows are available to see on Friday March 5?

Look at the right of every page for Browse by Date or Venue.

When you click on the link for a specific date, it will list every show that is showing on that date. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom. Some lists will be more than one page long, so be sure to click the link to page 2 at the bottom to see all show listings for that date.

Click the name of any show to go to their show listing where you can see the performers’ brief synopsis of their show, the dates and times they’re playing, and where it will be held, with a link to a map to help you find it.

Also in Browse by Date or Venue you can see what shows are playing at any individual venue.

You can see all listings for a particular type of venue, such as seeing a list of all Main Stage shows. Clicking on the link for Main Stage will list every show in any of the three Main Stage venues.

Click Main Stage, Cafe, BYOV, Film or Gallery to see the specific shows listed under those categories.

You can see all listings for a particular venue, such as seeing a list of all shows at Starline. Clicking on the link for Starline will list only those shows that are playing there.

Click any venue name to see a list of only those shows playing at that particular venue.

Remember to scroll through the entire list, and click the link for page 2 at the bottom to make sure you have seen a complete listing for each category.

Use the Search Bar

At the top of every page on this site you will find a search bar.

Type any term or word into that bar and click  ’search’ to see every listing that includes that term or word in it.

Type the word dance into the search bar and click ’search’ to be shown a list of every entry on this site that includes the word dance somewhere in the text.

Look through each list carefully. Some results may be shows that use the word dance in the description, but may not necessarily be a dance-related show.

A few extra hints

For all of your search results, please be sure to read each listing carefully.

Pay attention to the rating. Artists are encouraged to self-rate their shows to let prospective Rogue audiences know what age group might be appropriate to see them.

Enjoy your Rogue Festival Experience, and please remember to support the festival throughout the year!
