    Where will this be held?

  2. Julie Ann says:

It will be at SEVERANCE (California Arts Academy’s theater) at the corner of Wishon and Floradora in Fresno. Two blocks north of the Tower theater. I can’t wait to see it… his last two Rogue shows were so entertaining!

  3. Barry says:

All performances are at the Cal Arts Academy Severance.

    Hi Darci,

The dates/times/locations are listed in the box above. You can also check the grid for a daily schedule. Enjoy!

Barry Smith will perform at Cal Arts Academy Severance, which is on the corner of Wishon and Floradora, 2 blocks north of the Tower Theater. To find it in the box, you need to look at the “found in section” line and click on Cal Arts Academy Severance. (But if you don’t know that is the location in the first place, it isn’t very clear.) Hope this helps, and see you at the show!

Rogue Superstar returning with this amazing show!

I was really looking forward to seeing this show again but was somehow disappointed, and I’m not quite sure why. It’s still a very accomplished show and performance but it just didn’t move me like it did when I saw it performed in years past. While essentially the same as the show that was performed in the past, there are also differences. Is it because I am already familiar with the material, or because the old show was just better, or because it seemed less heartfelt emotion now and more performance and showmanship? I can’t really put my finger on it.

If you’ve never seen the show, or Barry perform before, then I think you owe it to yourself to check it out as it’s still very good, even if there is a spark missing.

  8. Kendell says:

The Shel Silverstein like poem ending the performance was almost worth the admission alone.

  9. Jessi says:

I love how Barry can present the bizarre as if it is natural and vice versa. Just as good as I remembered it (if not a little better). Don’t miss it if you haven’t seen it yet!

OMG! I saw his show last year, his baby book, which was awesome! and this one is really great as well! it was very funny and his comedic story telling is well worth the ticket. I recommend this show to anyone. If you’re gonna watch at least one show, this should be on your list. Grade A.

  11. Liesl Garner says:

Barry Smith is someone I look forward to seeing each Rogue! He’s funny, self-deprecating, has perfect comedic timing and always packs the house! He should be in your top pick for shows to check out at the 10th Anniversary of the Fresno Rogue Festival in 2011!
