Your performance was down to earth, low tech, calm, enjoyable, engaging, playful, peaceful, painless, human.
Seemed like much of the lyrics are based on cathartic work, revelations and gratitude.
As a fellow artist, I’ve been interested in creating something similar, as far as the recording live ( a type of improvisation), only the actual music being improvisation oriented as well. Encouraging to witness. Any interest in adding a bass player or additional percussion?
The immediacy of being part of a recording session, with a bit of audience interaction, was a kick. I’m looking forward to receiving my CD produced from the shows. Many musicians don’t want to be compared to others, yet Victor DesRoches gives Gordon Lightfoot some competition. The concluding song, the familiar “Loch Lomond” and thinking about its its historical background was haunting. I was glad to learn something about the software and hardware, but would have liked to heard more. An audience member’s question, “What’s your story” was a point well taken, in that I like to hear commentary with performances.
Worth every penny and more! KP’s Actors Gym is the perfect place for this intimate concert. I liked the “Oakland” song. This trio works well together. Thank you for an enjoyable performance!
