It’s a great point…songstresses like Abigail usually end up playing coffee shops and bars where selfish people often don’t bother paying attention, and singers end up feeling like they’re nothing more than background music.

Abigail’s lyrics and music should be paid careful attention to, especially when she explains the origins of her songs. The other good aspect of an unselfish audience is Abigail has a chance to banter and shine as a performer with her quippy asides and funny pre-song looks and self-deprecating hilarity points.

If you’ve never seen her, doing so in a Rogue setting is the best place to do so. If you have seen her before and are a fan (like I am), then go, even tho there’s nothing really new or themed this year.
