Why has life become so difficult? What happened to honesty and integrity? Isn’t technology meant to make life easier? Why the hell does anyone give a s*!t about Paris Hilton? The Antichrist will explain all this and sing some really cool songs!

A clever and enjoyable show! Pieter Moerdyk plays quite a charming anti-christ and would make a pleasant Uncle Jesus as well. Wry observations that are right on the mark! Nice songs and concept that will leave you smiling!

All I can tell you is the I wasn’t sure where Pieter was going with this one!. However, I went to his opening show and was thoruoghly impressed. I recommend that everyone need to go to one of his shows. It’s well worth it.

The great shows and performances at the Rogue are the result of not only talent but also tremendous effort, revision, practice, and more practice.
I am sorry to say that this performer did not seem to have any idea where he was going or what he wanted to say; the most likely and obvious reason being that he did not have any idea where he was going or what he wanted to say.
One would be tempted to say that he’d just finished coming up with the concept for this show the day before this performance except that there was never any evidence of a fully (or even partially ) realized concept and that he was constantly referring to a piece of ragged cardboard with notes scribbled on it to try and figure out where he might go next.
The songs he performed seemed as if they were chosen out of thin air, and had no discernible relevance to any of the things he said, none of which appeared to be thought out , much less refined.
Forgetting about the lack of any character, concept, or theme development, this show is still disappointing musically - although you may just love it if you find a karaoke quality version of “Afternoon Delight” highly appealing.

I was like Harry the Sound Man, where was Pieter going with this, but then he pulled it together. It was hilarious, Pieter never disappoints. I think he was funny and outrageous at the same time. I would prefer more music though, because Pieter is a good musician and songwriter. Go see the show for yourself. It is well worth it.
