I read this years ago… It’s hilarious. And I love Woodward Shakespeare Festival. I was sad I missed its run before, but they’re here for the Rogue… Woohoo!!! I finally get to see this play.
I’m really gonna try and stagger over…. I’ll try and keep it down….. the volume that is.

This production was not as funny as I had hoped but some of it was entertaining.

Amazing show!! Really well done!! Amazingly talented comedic actors who almost some of the best comedic timing I’ve ever seen, it’s cooky and wacky, with costume changes that will blow your mind!! I loved it and there was not a boring part or slow part of the show. Very paced and keeps your attention easily, my friends and I loved it!! =]

It was zany, wacky, and fun at times. Mostly, I was disappointed.
I expected a series of well-known lines from one play to morph into another play, to be a more continuous narrative, covering more of the plays than they used. (They took care of all the comedies in one short skit.) These guys can obviously act. In my opinion, shouting is not a substitute for acting. I found the sound too loud, the slapstick too frequent. The quotes from the plays were so short, and the added lines so numerous, it hardly qualified as a spoof on Shakespeare.
