“For this year’s Rogue Festival, Blake Jones & the Trike Shop have created a unique new show focused on their upcoming trip to one of rock n’ roll’s most important shrines:
The Cavern Club in Liverpool, England.

Their CD’s have traveled to Europe ahead of them: In Belgrade, they charted on an influential radio station at #8.In Italy, a music magazine wrote: “Jones e soci sono aperti ad ogni influenza dal pop al garage, filtrati dalla ‘science fiction’.”Now it’s the band’s turn to travel. Join us in launching this local band into a new phase of their career: Let’s “Send the Trike Shop to Liverpool!” The Trike Shop will be playing in the north of England this May including two sets in the Liverpool edition of the International Pop Overthrow Festival that will take place at the Cavern Club made famous by the Beatles. Expect them to inject a few ‘Fab’ tunes into this special Rogue Festival appearance.

What a great show! I especially loved the song for your brother. The Bus song is rockin! Very good, indeed! The keyboard player is very sexy. Can I get his phone number?

I had more fun at today's show than I've had in forever. Blake and the crew were ON it, and his daughter is absolutely hilarious/cool, with her deadpan antics and french horn skills.

I am the Walrus?? THANK YOU!!! Never can hear that enough.

This was a really tight VERY fun show.

Mad pop fun! Hooks and Zappa-esque twists...and a theremin to boot. Loved the song for Blake's bro.
Have a blast in Liverpool!

I think I would pay everyone's way to Liverpool for another chance to see Doc Morse dressed as an egg. This show is a must see...maybe you too can be an eggman!

I caught the Friday night show, and had a blast. The Beatles covers, the original pop songs with their infectious hooks and harmonies, the theremin, the lyrics on the cards... what more could I ask for? Thoroughly enjoyed this show.

My only complaint is that the theme song to "Send the Band to Liverpool" isn't available on CD yet.

Thanks, Blake and band. You always remind me why I love Pop. It's FUN!!! The humor is infectious! I love the Zappa-esque, "Ross, used to play us his Frank Zappa records/Cold Pepsi & Croutons" You have it nailed! Really Fast & Bulbous!!! And of course, we can never get enough of Strawberry Fields Forever & I am The Walrus! Loved the Bob Dylan "Don't Look Back" cue cards as well. Thanks for knowing that your fans are smart enough to get the references. Wish you much success, fun and great memories in Liverpool. Sigh, I would loved to see The Cavern Club myself someday. It's where it all began!!!
