I’m not just saying this: Nicholas Nocketback is completely inappropriate. And it was totally hilarious. During his first show (which was sold out/standing room only), Nocketback said things that (a) you can’t believe anyone would think and (b) you can’t believe anyone would say out loud. Astounding and funny. Please be advised that this show runs a little bit longer than the advertised 30 minutes, so plan your evening, ride, nap schedule, etc. accordingly.

Ok, I may be a bit biased on this one, but the 50 maybe 60 people who were packed into Spectrum all seemed to agree, judging that is, by their thunderous applause after the show, not to mention the uncontrolled laughter during the show. Wine flowed, jokes spewed, and laughter couldn't stop. The show is completely inappropriate for just about anyone, but it is guaranteed to make you laugh. You know it is inappropriate when after one of the more line-crossing jokes there is a silence broken by everyone trying not to laugh, followed up by everyone laughing. Everything from curry powder to Parkinson’s nothing was off limits to Mr. Nocketback. I had Starr, Scott, & Ed as tops for the funniest Rogue experience, but Nocketback may have nosed ahead.

Spectrum is not a very big venue and this show exceeded the limit early and had to turn people away. There are only 2 shows left and the buzz that is sure to happen as a result of last nights show means that seats are going to be hard to come by. You'd better get there early if you want to make it through the door. Nocketbacks will be performing on Thurs. March 8, 6:15 & Sat. March 10, 5pm. This show is rated NC-17 and for good reason. If you're easily offended you should still come and then storm out in disgust 5mins in.

this guy was really funny. he jokes about life, fresno, relationships. nothing is untouchable. the box was wine slowing as advertised, although it's box wine, so...

and, it's as nc-17 as it could be, so if you have delicate sensibilities, bring them and have them broken.

go see this show.

A bit uneven but hey! Where can you get comedy for 3 bucks? The potential is there. Sounds a bit like Dave Attel but not quite as cleverly bitter. Just let life crap on you a little more, it'll come. Ha!

The majority of the audience found this show uproarious. I could not be counted as part of that majority.
Nocketback managed to get a few laughs outta me but I just didn't find most of his material funny.
I did not drink any of the boxed wine that may have contributed to the majority's jollity.
