oops, I posted this at his photography site...here it is in the right place!

Yeah, I just don't get why there aren't more people at this show.

There's an age and depth to these songs, lyrically and vocally...maybe the kids today just aren't old enough, and the older folks just aren't hip enough?

I don't know, but Kien is a 'true' musician, a musicians'-musician.

For that alone, even if the show bores you for whatever reason, you should check it out, just so you can say you saw one of the best.

Kien Lim returns to the Rogue this year with increased confidence and vocals stronger than ever. He continues to write beautiful, melodic, soulfull yet catchy folk-y pop-y rockin songs!

I agree with Steph... what the heck is going on? Why isn't there a butt in every seat? If you haven't caught this performer yet... Do.

Long live the Dark Pop King!!

Okay, I'll admit right off the top that I'm biased. Kien has continued to be a favorite of mine. He is a great talent and I'm happy to call him a friend. He's really moving forward with his music (and now photography too) and we are lucky to have him include Fresno in his stops. I cannot recommend anyone more for your Rogue experience. Kien personifies what this is all about, getting out there and sharing what you've got. You only need to see him perform live to understand.

I posted this at the photography site by accident, but I'd like to post it where it belongs...

I'm very happy that I had the chance to hear Kien Lim's music, and better yet, to see him perform live. Beautiful, strong music, with lyrics that create a vivid world - so personal and true that each song really really resonated with me.
