Absolutely amazing. Choreography at its best. Simple costuming to allow for full attention on the beautiful dancers. I find myself breathing with you. I am so happy I went!!

Altered Modalities. What can I say?

They find the right songs, do the complicated moves, and look great doing it.

Still, I'm sorry to say, they've still a ways to go (and maybe I'm being a bit rough because of the expert dance of Emspace and Beth Megill)...there can often be no emotion on their faces unless specifically choreographed, and the moves are so exhausting to them they're often visibly struggling to keep breathing and moving.

I love these girls, and adore Martha Kelly-Fierro, but I do wish for a bit more.

As for the choreography and music, it's fantastic, but I'll still hope for the dancers to be tighter, for legs to hit the same point at the same time, and for the dancers to express more from their core.

Having said all that...I still say go see the show, especially if you're a dancer. YOU try those moves!

And great dancers everywhere in the Valley should be learning from and working with MKF. She's really one of the best.
