Audiences will have great fun with these stories from a time when stories were more popular. With just his marvelous story telling (and minimal but well chosen sets and costumes), Tim Erenta transports his audience to the 1300s with Europe’s “most requested stories,” complete with Plague humor and jabs against the Turks. Tim’s stories, while previously unfamiliar to me, were completely captivating.

Although, I enjoyed Tim's portrayal of Prince Charming from last year's Rogue much more, I was still amused at the novel concept in this show. Granted, some of the stories were quite strange. Moral? What moral? Some of the tales had a good beginning and then just petered out. Perhaps they didn't translate well? It was like waiting for a punch line that never came.

Ok, so I actually haven't seen this show yet, but I know for a fact that Tim Ereneta is phenomenal at everything he does, whether it's whimsical period-storytelling, musical improv, or indie-comics. Check him out!!

I liked most of the stories. It is true that a few of them "petered out." BUT- Tim such a compelling story teller, he's fun and has great energy. He's just so darn likeable! A must see.

The fun is enhanced by his sly use of current pop references, from Casey Kasem's America's Top Ten to global epidemics. Tim used some wonderful tales--some were old friends, but others were new discoveries to be cherished. It's hard to be flat on a roller-coaster ride like this!
Keep telling the good ones, Tim!
