Gettin' mighty crowded (Updated Sunday, February 27, 2005, 5:51 AM)
With the Rogue Festival kicking off this week and the Fresno Philharmonic and Tulare County Symphony both performing next weekend, and Leonard Nimoy in town to boot, the Valley arts calendar is going to be unusually crowded. The 2005 edition of the Rogue, which will feature roughly 150 performances, kicks off Thursday during ArtHop. Some of the ArtHop exhibits will be part of the festival, but there will be plenty more to see. Think of it as an arts bonanza. And the good thing about art exhibits is that they last for a while, so if you can't see everything during ArtHop, there will be time later. For more info about ArtHop, visit http://www.fresnoarts.org/, or call the Fresno Arts Council at (559) 237-9734.
