GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS, ROGUE NEWS!
Do you know the significance of 10/10/10 10:00am? Yes, you’re right – that’s the opening of the 2011 Rogue Festival application period. We just wanted to let you know of a few changes:
BAD NEWS – prices are going up
GOOD NEWS – ticket prices and number of (some) performances are increasing as well
After maintaining the same application fee for the past 5 years, we find it necessary to increase our prices and make some changes. We will continue our policy of 100% of the door going to the performer. We’ve looked at the fees charged by other festivals, and decided
MAIN STAGE
As two of our mainstages currently serve alcohol, we no longer will have a “premium” space. You may request a space, but it will remain first come/first serve and at the discretion of the producers as to which of the main stages would be best: Starline, Million Two, Dianna’s, Neighborhood Thrift. The mainstage fee will increase from $325 & $375 to $400. With our fees increasing, we are also increasing the ticket price you can charge from $7 to $9. We are maintaining the number of performances per performer (4 for locals, 5 for out-of-towners). We are also changing The Broken Leg Stage from a cafe to a mainstage. Because it is a smaller venue (seats 50) we are setting the number of performances per performer to 6 — local or out-of-town.

CAFÉ STAGE
We will no longer differentiate between local and out-of-town performers on our smaller café stages, and there will be no “premium” space. You may request a space, but it will remain first come/first serve and at the discretion of the producers as to which of the café stages would be best: VeniVidiVici, Spectrum, City Art Gallery, and Tower Tattoo. The café fee will increase from $75 to $150. With our fees increasing, we are also increasing the ticket price you can charge from $4 to $5, and also increasing the number of performances from 3 to 4.

Please notice the change in the application period! Applications will start on the 10th of October at 10:00am (in honor of it being our 10 year anniversary). Please do not delay in submitting your application – last year our mainstage spaces were full within the first 6 hours.
